The Milford Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who walked into a FedEx location inside Walmart on Boston Post Road and picked up a cellphone using someone else’s identity.
According to police, the man was able to obtain his victim’s personal identifying information, used it to make a purchase online and had the phone delivered to the FedEx location.
When he picked up the phone from FedEx, the suspect was able to provide the clerk with an ID card with his victim’s name, date of birth and address on it with his own image attached.
